to be a part of a fixed income technology team, a group within fidelity investment’s asset management technology division that crafts, develops and supports portfolio & trading software applications used by our investment professionals. fidelity’s fixed income business is responsible for managing $1 trillion in customer assets



the expertise you have

we are seeking an experienced software developer to contribute to ongoing project work. the ideal candidate will have experience in cloud-first full stack engineering, with a curiosity about building business application for financial services, working in a team environment. you will join an agile scrum team and play a hands-on role in the design, development, and testing of software application for the fixed income product line.

bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or engineering or similar. 5+ years of experience in software engineering a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle process, preference is with scrum / agile proven experience in a full stack software development environment understanding of and experience within an agile framework preferred

the skills you bring

have deep technical and programming skills: comfortable developing c#/.net based user interfaces knowledge of sql development familiarity with developing and running software on cloud service providers like amazon web services comfortable working in an environment that uses a broad set of technologies, including angular web based user interfaces, java based middle tier services, spring framework, oracle, messaging technologies (ems or kafka) restful apis and web containers. fast learner and a phenomenal teammate can optimally work on a small development team are self-motivated, driven, and have a strong client focus and results orientation approach have strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with the technical team
