role description: the agile coach x2 must have at least 6+ years of experience. for this role, you must be an agile certificate, scrum cert. is acceptable except for safe scrum

under general supervision, this position is a member of the coaching center of excellence that creates and executes the transformation roadmap. they coach multiple teams and the management on agile philosophy and practices, influencing management to structure their organization so that it gets the most amount of benefits from adopting agile development. this role is responsible for guiding managers through the implementation process and encouraging others to embrace agility.

minimums for interview are:

- an existing agile coach

- experience with kanban and scrum

preferred qualifications (preferred)

- development background

- served in multiple roles in a development team

key responsibilities:

- solves highly complex problems in product or service delivery environments by observing the effects of agile adoption and coaching teams on approach selection, up or downstream work management strategies, or role clarity.

- delivers training courses for management on understanding of agile and lean development to build a vision of where their organization and structure might be over time; delivery of focused workshops where vision and initial action are created.

- instructs agile team(s) and management on the use of agile methodologies in software development processes including planning, daily standups, review and retrospective, backlog refinement, and summarizing and promoting the best practices.

- collaborates with team to facilitate the maturity of agile processes and practices; monitoring and making continuous improvements.

- attends regular management meetings to observe the discussion and decision making; providing feedback on how to improve and ideas to work towards their departmental vision.

- facilitates one on one discussions that support learning, discussion, and direction towards the departmental vision.

minimum qualification:

- high school diploma/ged or equivalent degree with 5 or more years of experience in coaching agile teams, organizational design, change management, facilitation or suitable combination of education, experience and training with a certification in certified agile coach (icp-acc) or knowledge of scaled frameworks (less, nexus, dad, safe, etc.)

preferred qualification:

- bachelor’s degree in business administration/management, computer and information science, organizational development, change management, or related field, or foreign equivalent, or suitable combination of education, experience and training; plus 3 years of experience in coaching agile teams and/or change management with a certification in certified agile coach (icp-acc) or knowledge of scaled frameworks (less, nexus, dad, safe, etc.).

education: bachelors: business administration/management, bachelors: computer and information science, ged (required), high school (required)
