robert half is currently working with a client seeking a purchaser. this purchaser will research vendors, products, and services and negotiate contracts for the best price and value. if you are an experience purchaser with excellent communication, inventory management and analytical skills, this may be the role for you.

major responsibilities

- keep records of purchased products up to date

- conduct research on potential products, vendors, and services, and comparing price and quality for the best deal

- work with delivery and warehouse teams to ensure goods are received on time

- engage with new vendors and products at events, shows, and exhibitions

- monitor inventory and writing orders to refill stock

- look over products upon delivery and report any issues timely

- meet with vendors and clients to negotiate contracts

- engage with staff and other stakeholders at meetings

- write reports on purchases made and performing cost analyses- excellent communication and negotiation skills

- associate's degree in business administration or related field preferred

- strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing

- outstanding organizational skills

- top notch analytical, quantitative and social skills
