the sub-contractor manager is the main point of contact for kuubix energy and all vendors and sub-contractors in coordinating hybrid dealers, third-party work (i.e. roofing, ground installations, sub-contracted installations, etc.), temporary employees, etc. they will work closely with all departments to identify, develop, and deploy new vendors to address needs as they arise and anticipate needs via rfp and contract process for vendors by skillset and region. this role is part project manager, part administrator and part negotiator with some procurement required. additionally, the day-to-day management of all third-party work is handled by this manager. 

essential duties and responsibilities

• collaborate with business development and operations to identify vendors and suppliers than can address needs of the company and implement processes to incorporate and manage sub-contracted work

• develop a bidding/rfp system for negotiating, contracting and managing third-party work

• end to end project management of sub-contracted work

• provide ongoing consulting and expertise in key areas of focus

• serve as primary contact for all operations vendors (not procurement, warehousing or distribution)

• handle all basic administrative functions to ensure the flow of contracts, work completed, invoicing, etc.

• complete regular internal system audits and make improvements as needed

• assist in training of operations management on working with contractors hand-in-hand across the organization 

• effectively act as the liaison between our employees (crews) and the vendor’s employees

• work independently with minimal direction and oversight

• ability to assess the impact of new requirements on the installation workflow and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes

• computer skills in microsoft office, web-based information gathering, and crm usage.

• must be able to travel in automobile for long distances at a time.
