School nurse pt - united states, aberdeen

st. joan of arc school located in aberdeen, md has an immediate opening for a part time school nurse. the school nurse will work closely with the principal, teachers., student and parents to drive established procedures to maintain a healthy and safe environment at st. joan of arc. this position is for two days a week approximately 15.0 hours a week.

job responsibilities:

provide nursing assessment and treat injuries and illnessesdispense medication as prescribedmaintain student health records in accordance with the health department of md and the department of catholic schoolsdisseminate health information to administration, faculty, staff, students and parents as appropriate and necessarycoordinate care plans and special accommodations for studentscoordinate medical management of students for field tripsmaintain confidentiality in all areas of responsibility

qualifications:

registered nurse, licensed in the state of marylandprior experience working with a diverse age group preferredcurrent cpr certification
