description: the successful candidate will be responsible for working with the pingfederate solutioncandidate will assist senior staff with supporting, troubleshooting, and sustaining the existing pingfederate product stack and aws automation.candidate will work with rtx corporate staff to ensure solutions meet security and compliance requirements.candidates ideally will be familiar with identity and access management solutions, methodologies, and best practices.candidates should have knowledge of code development, cloud hosting, and automation solutions.candidate should possess good collaboration and relationship building skills in order to have or form close working relationships with business and application teams. responsibilities: maintain and support the pingfederate solution at the direction of senior staff.collaborate with company staff to become familiar with automated hosting environment and help to support the maintenance of this environment.this work could include server application version upgrades and patches, aws hosting environment updates, and aws network/dns re-configuration.work with application owners to help troubleshoot application problems and bring resolution to cross-system issues.attend meetings with application owners and business analysts to help define technical and security requirements for applications and then assist in implementation of solutions to meet those requirements.ensure all current solutions and new developments are implemented in a secure and compliant manner that meets corporate and regulatory policies.extend knowledge across identity domains to help support the larger collins identity team. this may include taking part in an on-call rotation.work with rtx corporate leadership to sustain identity management as a value-add service.
qualifications:
technical skill required: experience with software development lifecycleknowledge of identity and access management solutionsknowledge of cross-application integration technologies, web services, data transfer, and workflowsprevious experience in managing ping identity product stack (pingfederate)experience developing in one or more object oriented programming languages in software development at a professional level.experience with python is a plus.previous experience working with aws automation solutions (cloudformation)understanding of dns, tcp / ip protocols, clustering, load balancing, firewallsserver administration (unix/rhel) experienceexperience using splunk or other log collection/analysis toolsknowledge of authentication and authorization protocols such as: kerberos, ntlm, saml, oauth, spml, etc… desired qualification: cissp certification must have requirements: bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline or four years of related experience; identified skills and experience.a us citizen or permanent resident (green card holder).ability to work on a complex technical system.ability to troubleshoot, resolve, and find the root cause of issues promptly, even under pressure.ability to communicate effectively, manage multiple tasks, and follow through on commitments.demonstrate self-motivation, decisiveness, and a positive teamwork attitude.
