managing teams involving sourcing and procurement within telecom, media, and technology industries;building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement;communicating value propositions;managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collection;preparing or coordinating complex written and verbal materials; and,managing budget development, financial management and staff, and producing white papers and/or publishing journal articles on the topic of supply chain management.

managing the sourcing & procurement process in three or more of the following skill sets, as well as a specialty in telecommunications, media, and technology sourcing and procurement including:

possessing a deep understanding of spend category strategies for several relevant spend categories, such as it, professional services, marketing;possessing a deep understanding of leading practices for sourcing and procurement processes and policies;using various enterprise sourcing and procurement software such as coupa or ariba;participating in client discussions and meetings, managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues;applying digital supply chain capabilities in sourcing and procurement including machine learning or artificial intelligence, robotic process automation, risk management tools;designing key performance indicators and metrics for sourcing and procurement and its interaction with other functions;designing roles and responsibilities by function or activity;assessing current sourcing and procurement processes and systems and identify opportunities to improve operations;possessing knowledge with product should costing (bottom up cost modelling);possessing knowledge in in-sourcing and/or outsourcing assessment;managing budget development, financial management and staff, and producing white papers and/or publishing journal articles on the topic of supply chain management;identifying and addressing client needs;building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement;creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations and respecting the work-life quality of team members, providing candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner and keeping leadership informed of progress and issues;managing resource requirements, project plans and budgets;preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials; and,communicating and influencing a variety of stakeholders at all levels (client executives, directors, internal project teams, etc.).
