an established company in union mo is looking for an experienced maintenance technician! this would be a direct hire opportunity, salary negotiable, dependent on experience and education.
responsibilities:
* perform daily preventative equipment maintenance.
* perform troubleshooting on mechanical issues including pneumatic and hydraulics.
* initiate equipment repair orders.
* perform detailed machine maintenance.
* day to day coverage of production line injection molding equipment: respond to alarms, breakdowns, and production requests quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime.
* work required overtime including weekends as needed
* ensure the safety of yourself and others.
* use proper ppe at all times
* perform other job-related duties as assigned.
required:
* high school diploma/ged equivalent
* prefer related trade school diploma
* 3-5 years machine maintenance
* ability to climb ladders.
* bending, reaching and lift up to 50 pounds.
* analytical and problem solving aptitude
* general knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic blue-print schematic reading
* excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting electronic circuit skills
* solid understanding of: electrical controls (480 3-phase, 208 3-phase, 120 single phase, starters, contactors) hydraulics and pneumatics, and fabrication.
* ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
* ability to bend, stoop, stand, walk
* must have valid driver's license and insurance
