senior accountant responsibilities:

assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close and reporting requirementswork cross-functionally with sales, customer development, marketing, and category management teams to proactively improve kpisprovide financial support to the organization including trend analysis, cost improvement opportunities, and profitability analysis of products, suppliers, programs and special projectsensure that accurate financial records and strong internal controls are in place and being followedassist in preparation of annual operation plan, long range strategic plans, monthly outlooks, quarterly reviews and other special analysis

profile

bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field3+ years of experience in accountingmanufacturing or distribution experience preferredrebate experience preferredexcellent knowledge of ms excel and wordstrong business communication and analytical skillsstrong verbal and written communication skills
