genesis10 is currently seeking a vmware engineer with our client in the financial industry in jersey city, nj, charlotte, nc, richardson, tx, newark, de, or richmond, va. this is a 12 month + contract position.
requirements: 5+ years' experience in product certification, design, and security engineering with vmware technologies: vmware vsphere v6/v7 vmware vsan v6/v7 vmware vrealize suite (vra/vro/vrops) vmware nsxt (desired) excellent knowledge of vmware product design and security engineering within firewalled environments proven experience in vmware (vra/vro v7/v8) automation workflow creation proficiency in software languages - ansible, python, javascript, and/or powercli excellent understanding of all round networking and firewall principles proficient working knowledge of agile, scrum and cidc pipelines excellent documentation ability vmware vsphere, vsan and vrealize suites proficiency in software languages - ansible, python, javascript, and/or powercli excellent knowledge of vmware product design and security engineering within firewalled environments expert engineering experience of vmware vsphere and vrealize product suites able to work as a w2 employee of genesis10 (no corp-to-corp)
