position: quality control inspector
responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• ability to read and understand customer prints
• ability to use inspection tools as shown and trained
• ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• problem solving and troubleshooting
• ability to segregate non-conforming parts from acceptable parts
• experience working on a manufacturing team with machinists and engineers
• a good understanding of the manufacturing process
• maintain a safe and clean workstation
general qualifications
• above average mechanical aptitude
• basic reading, writing, and some advanced arithmetic skills required
• basic computer interface skills are required
• strong ability to follow verbal and written work instructions
• ability to work in a team environment or independently
• strong problem-solving skills
• basic knowledge of machine shop practice
• prior experience running a cmm
• desire to learn and to keep current with modern shop technology
