reston hospital center is an award-winning facility, located in the heart of northern virginia, which offers a full range of medical services, including 24-hour emergency care. our 231-bed hospital is supported by robust vascular and cardiac catheterization labs involved in complex pci and cardiogenic shock stabilization.  reston hospital center is a certified stroke center, certified total joint center and the only accredited chest pain center with pci & resuscitation in northern virginia.

the veins and arteries are an important part of the cardiovascular system, transporting blood and oxygen throughout the body to keep it healthy. we provide comprehensive care for your heart, arteries and veins.

we perform a wide range of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures including cardiac catheterization, angioplasty and electrophysiology studies. additionally, we offer hypothermia therapy to reduce organ damage following cardiac arrest.

the clinical coordinator as the assistant to the department director performs a dual role - clinical and administrative.  he/she is responsible for identifying the need for, implementing and complying with all unit and hospital standards.  the clinical coordinator is responsible for clinical and administrative decisions on the unit during the absence of the nursing director.  he/she supervises all caregivers on the unit and service as a role model to staff.

education:   graduate of an n.l.n. accredited nursing program; bsn preferred.

current licensure as a registered nurse in the commonwealth of virginia

experience:    must meet all rn requirements.  must demonstrate leadership skills.
