job summary:
responsible for performing entry level technical work and related activities associated with the planning, engineering, design, analysis of company assets.
technical responsibilities:
work with customers to design new services, relocate services, or convert their services. analyze poles and transformers for structural and electrical integrity. design to current company and nesc standards. prepare construction drawings, permits, and easements required.
communication & interpersonal skills: communicates effectively, both orally and in writing with internal and external customers.
education and work experience: minimum high school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years or related utility industry work experience; or an associate's degree in electrical/electronic/civil/ mechanical engineering technology or related fields.
this will be 50% out in the field and 50% in the office.
this is a hybrid position. will work out schedule with the manager.
can work potential storm duty and ot.
