responsible to provide p & l responsibility for assigned laboratory operations;

provide assistance to clients in explaining laboratory analysis;be responsible for determining authenticity of laboratory certificates analysis;receive orders from clients on submitted samples, and follow up on job progress and report status to clients;provide recommendations to the regional laboratory manager on upgrading laboratory;participate in local marketing efforts; maintain thorough understanding of sampling techniques;assure compliance with laboratory q.a. manual and safety manual;perform testing and analysis, as well as quality control of laboratory solutions and standards;identify emerging shifts in the industry through the review of competitive analysis coupled with the ability to make sound suggestions or recommendations to maintain competitive;be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of laboratory staff; and be responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.must have bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. must also have five (5) years of experience with instrumentations and calibrations in gas chromatography (gc), gc-ms, icp-ms, icp, hplc & aa;five (5) years of experience with petroleum, petrochemical and chemical testing;five (5) years of experience with laboratory quality control system; sqc, car, and moc;three (3) years of experience in a management or supervisory role in a petroleum, petrochemical or chemical laboratory setting; three (3) years of experience with iso 9001 & iso 17025 audits; three (3) years of experience with analytical method development, verification, and validation.
