medical assistant needed for a contract 6 months opportunity within a large healthcare organization in newport, beach, ca  

schedule: monday-friday 8 am to 5 pm

location: newport, beach, ca  

top skills you should possess: medical assistant diploma or certification family practice, urgent care or occupational heal experience preferred

what you’ll be doing:

assist in examination and treatment of patients, performing miscellaneous delegated duties under the direction of physician. ask patients questions regarding injury or ailment. take vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts. prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients. clean and sterilize instruments.1-3 years of experience
