responsible for exhibiting chesapeake utilities corporation’s mission, vision and values, regarding external customers, agencies, vendors, internal departments and co-workers.  this position is responsible for assisting in the support of the business unit’s organizational planning efforts, with a focus on strategic planning, business development opportunities, and overall business unit reporting measures.

this position will be responsible for the following duties:

support business unit plans that achieve targeted financial earnings, capital growth rates, and allowed rate of returns.calculate performance measures for business unit as well as departments within the unit.assist in developing organizational and infrastructure requirements in connection with the company's growth efforts.assist efforts to recommend valuable management reporting mechanisms and tools, such as dashboards, portals, and other potential alternatives and options.support the goals, objectives, and strategies of other departments within the business unit, other business units, as well as the overall corporation.

exceptional business judgment and decision making skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing.bachelors degree requiredthree to five years of directly related experience strong organizational and analytical skills required to handle several projects at one time.a high level of mental activity is needed in order to quickly learn details, analyze data, make judgments and a strong ability with math is necessary to ensure accuracy of data.
