the certified nursing assistant provides basic resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse and assists in the maintenance of the unit environment.

essential duties and responsibilities of cna - certified nursing assistant:

receives reports regarding the status of assigned residents at the beginning of the shift.gives reports to supervising nurse at the end of the shift.performs direct and indirect resident care activities as ordered and consistent with the facility's policies and procedures.

requirements for a certified nursing assistant cna:
