highland house assisted living of waterloo wi, division of watertown regional medical center, has a full-time (.8 fte), pm shift opportunity for a resident assistant. the resident assistant is responsible for assisting the elderly with their daily living routines which can include dressing; skin, nail and hair care; oral hygiene; bathing; toileting; simple exercise; medication monitoring and administration under general supervision of a rn. other general duties can include housekeeping duties in resident rooms, common areas, and restrooms; launder clothing for residents as needed; organize, coordinate and participate in planned activities including meals; perform dietary duties including preparation of meals and snacks, dining room set-up and clean up; document resident activity daily.
full time, 32 hrs/wk, pm shift. $1,000 sign-on bonus..
qualifications
minimum high school education or equivalent, required.
up to 6 months technical or on the job training preferred.
cbrf client related certification (advanced age/dementia) or current wisconsin certified nursing assistant within 6 months of employment.
cbrf standard precautions, fire safety training, first aid and choking certification within 90 days of employment.
cbrf medication administration and dietary training certification within 6 months of employment.
experience in healthcare setting or certified nursing assistant, preferred.
