nursing assistant in training - monroe - full time - 40 hours/week eligible for benefits - the nurse assistant in training will have two months of classes/clinical two days/week (every tuesday and thursday) at parker at monroe and three days assisting, as needed, in one of our nursing residences. must successfully pass the nursing in training course and state skills and written examinations to complete the program and then be placed as a certified nursing assistant (cna) in one of parker's homes. cnas enhance the physical, mental and psychosocial well-being of our elders. partner with the certified nurse’s aides (cnas) preceptor; to provide person-centered care to the elders and reduce loneliness, helplessness, and boredom to enhance their quality of life.
minimum qualifications:
high school diploma or ged required must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of parker. must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull move and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet. able to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations. must be able to work every other weekend full vaccination including booster (as eligible) required or receive an exemption prior to employment.Apply to this job now Report abuse
