a growing industrial client of ours has a great opportunity for an experienced finance leader. this position reports directly to the cfo and is responsible for providing financial analysis, developing and maintaining a documented system of finance processes, and preparing accurate and timely financial reports. as the vp of finance, you will be a key member of the executive team who ensures they are able to sustainably support their mission and working closely with the cfo and controller to handle everything under the finance umbrella!

key responsibilities

compile and analyze financial information to prepare periodic financial statements and cash flow statementsprepare regular financial management reports for internal and external usesupport managers in understanding the financial performance of their departmentmonthly calculation and analysis of various financial metrics and operational kpisensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end closemonitor and maintain financial control proceduresrun the annual budgeting processsupport the annual financial audit

the successful vp of finance candidate will:

excel at relationship building/stakeholder management - be hands-on, team-oriented, energetic, and dynamic leader who regularly interacts with other functions to provide support and analysis.be process minded - know how to build processes and executehave outstanding communication skills - both written and oralhave effective presentation and analytical skillsleads by example - uphold, interpret, and apply company values, policies and procedures

qualifications

eight+ years of progressively successful managerial experience leading finance functionsbachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a closely related field; mba, cpa, or other certifications a plusstrong analytical mindsetprevious industrial experience requiredcomputer skills adequate to develop a strong working knowledge of the company's erp systemexcellent verbal and written communication skills
