• responsible for all operations and performance of assigned facility/group. responsible for managing and directing team members to ensure safe operating results, regulatory compliance, continuing performance improvement, development of customer relationships and business line development, pricing/estimating of new work, and development and implementation of financial goals to support overall group objectives.
• directs staff in support of site goals (safety, compliance, financial, quality, and efficiency).
• sets the site safety culture and continually reinforces safety.
• communicates and interfaces with various regulatory agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• hosts customer and internal site visits and capabilities summaries.
• ensures all projects are planned and executed to the expectations of the customer.
• develops new business lines to continue growth.
• reviews price estimates and quotes for new projects.
• interfaces with energysolutions (es) corporate to implement various corporate initiatives at the local level.
• utilizes various financial tools, including budgets, forecasts, etc. to accurately depict the current financial status and make adjustments to plan accordingly.
• interfaces with community leaders to be an advocate for es.
• provides technical support on various operational issues.
• aids in the development of research and development projects.
• reviews man power and ensures that staff levels are adequate to address goals.
• performs other duties as assigned.
job requirements• familiarity with energysolutions quality assurance (qa) program
• strong communication skills; must be able to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and community leaders
• strong interpersonal skills
• basic knowledge of es accounting and budgeting systems
• basic computer skills, including microsoft office
• ability to use hands as assigned
• ability to sit, stand, and walk
• ability to effectively communicate; pass audiogram in hearing conservation program as required by location
• ability to see close, distant, and computer screens
• ability to work inside an office
• ability to work alone, work with others, and interact with the public
• ability to drive a vehicle and travel overnight; perform under deadline pressure
minimum qualifications and years of experienceeducation
• bachelor's degree required in engineering or science preferred
• 15 years of experience in the industry can be substituted in lieu of a degree
certifications
