the sr. technical business planning/talent program manager integrates programs aimed at developing the skills and capabilities of our technology employees at all levels of the department to meet current and future kiewit technology group (ktg) staffing requirements. also coordinates culture and engagement events, people programs, plans initiatives, manages business planning efforts and sets and organizes agendas, maintains compliance with standards, and communicates to key stakeholders and executive leadership regarding status.

location

this position will be based out of our kiewit business center at 12720 i street. this is a shared service center in a professional office setting. this position offers a hybrid work schedule.



responsibilities

provides support and oversight to annual ktg business planning initiatives. organizes teams and integration of all appropriate channels and sub-channels involved in execution and delivery of annual cycle works closely with technology leaders to facilitate execution of key talent/culture projects and initiatives. provides strategic, analytical and management support, and keeps leadership abreast of noteworthy events, milestones, and issues in their area of responsibility assist with maintaining a talent strategy that captures how ktg really works and places the right people in the right roles to drive business outcomes. deliver practices, solutions, technologies to enable talent strategy development and maintain ktg-wide skills management and workforce planning efforts and integrate into annual business planning cycle improve transparency of career pathing possibilities standardize expectations and assess progress of high potential/talent pool development plans integrate best practices to improve ktg culture, engagement & retention design, manage and lead in-person, hybrid, and virtual leadership meetings and events communicate regularly and effectively with key stakeholders, reporting on progress performs other job-related duties as assigned communicate regularly and effectively with key stakeholders, reporting on progress light travel may be required (less than 5%)

qualifications

bachelor’s degree  minimum of 5 years related experience outstanding interpersonal skills that build relationships at all levels across the organization with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build consensus proven ability to communicate ideas and insights in person, virtually, and in writing ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with sme’s, management, and decision-makers within the organization ability to acknowledge knowledge gaps and seek to fill them from reliable sources strong strategic and critical thinking skills to identify interdependencies between issues, data, and outcomes; clear understanding of how moving pieces come together to build the big picture ability to handle information and business affairs with secrecy and confidentially as appropriate excellent communication and organization skills
