summary of position:

the senior accounts receivable specialist communicates and interacts with team members throughout the company and our customers to ensure efficient handling of customer accounts, including sales orders, returns, collections, and deductions.

roles and responsibilities :

posts customer payments assists with customer questions and disputes reconciles customer account balances assists in the collection process of past due accounts maintains positive and effective communications with customers processes customer credit applications reviews high risk transactions for potential fraudulent transactions assists in all activities related to vendor chargeback analysis to prevent fraud and improve the chargeback process responsible for investigating and reversing chargebacks recently charged to century assists ar supervisor and provides backup to ar supervisor as needed complies with federal and state regulations as well as company policies and procedures other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the position may be assigned displays a good work ethic maintains professionalism in the workplace continuously follows all safety rules and works in a safe and efficient manner

qualifications and requirements:

strong understanding of credit and collections exceptional customer service skills excellent communication skills organizational skills ability to sit at a desk at least 90%-100% daily ability to have prolonged use of computers, monitors, and keyboards proficient in excel, word, and 10 key

education and experience:

high school degree or ged (required) 3-4 years of experience in accounts receivable (required)
