duties and responsibilities: responsible for client and vendor interfacing via phone and electronic correspondenceproactive carrier and final mile shipment trackingresponsible for communication with the client on consignment status and maintaining statuses via transportation management system (tms) for all tracking aspects, including but not limited to issues.follow all relevant standard operating procedures, client protocols, and quality criteria in accordance with good manufacturing practices in all areas of responsibilityresponsible for adhering to escalation procedure if there is a deviation from the service level agree and/or standard operating procedureprovide essential information, timely to the client and internal staffprepares partners for small- and large-scale distributionssupports continuous improvement activitiesbased on business needs, this position may require overtime
education and experience: high school diploma or equivalent requiredbachelor’s degree in an applicable field preferred (or 4 years of relevant experience)good manufacturing and good documentation practices experiencecarrier and final mile tracking experiencecourier / transportation experiencecustomer service experiencetransportation management system (tms) experienceknowledge of transportation and logisticscold chain supply chain with a background in pharmaceuticals preferredknowledge of carrier and final mile tracking
knowledge, skills, abilities: understanding of good manufacturing practices and good documentation practicesstrong professional written and verbal communications skillsability to understand and follow standard operating proceduresmicrosoft officeanalytical, process-oriented, deadline and task-driven
