now hiring for warehouse order pickers. our warehouse order pickers would work a 2nd shift from 12pm-8:30pm, monday-friday and a 1st shift every other saturday from 6am-2:30pm. our warehouse order pickers will be working in a temp to hire opportunity with our client. our warehouse order pickers will be utilizing an order picker for 75% of their role and 25% of their role will be performing other warehouse duties such as shipping, receiving, storage and distribution of product. ideal for warehouse order pickers looking to grow in a team environment. if you are looking for your next warehouse position, apply with us asap!

job duties and responsibilities:
receive, transport and stock inbound products from manufacturing facilities and suppliers; including but not limited to physical lifting, movement by powered and manual lift and material handling equipmentaccurately place and properly stack stock for storage in designated areasfulfilling orders by locating, transporting, offloading, scanning of outbound productsorder fulfillment tasks require physical lifting and the use of both manual and industrial powered equipmentperforming inventory cycle countsskilled operation of a stock picker at least 75% of the worktime on a regular basisreview paperwork to ensure that all product has been pulled and ready for delivery or pick up.assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse as well as complying with all safety regulationsscan all product received and upload into computer systemother duties as assigned by management to include product prep, reuse or recycling of revenue commodities, 5s responsibilities, attending company required training and committee participationjob requirements:
must have forklift certification and order picker/cherry picker experiencehs diploma, ged or equivalent experienceminimum of 1 year experience in delivery, warehousing, receiving, issuing, packing, shipping and/or storage of goodsbasic computer skills for maintaining inventory logs and databasesgood communication skills, both written and oralbe able to work up to about 35 feet high with a safety harnessability to move heavy items for several hours consecutively when pulling or putting away furniturebasic knowledge of inventory proceduresthorough understanding of the proper methods and procedures used in safe receiving, storing, requisitions, shipping and deliveryunderstand internal control procedures for process of receiving product against purchase orders and packing slips and actions to reconcilemust be able to pass a background check and drug testbe dependable with reliable transportationdownload our open app
