this is a third shift position.
starting pay is $28/hr + $2/hr differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts!
th foods inc. is a rapidly growing manufacturer of crackers & snack products in the natural and health snack category, under the crunchmaster and harvest stone brands. we are seeking maintenance technicians for our henderson facility.

position summary: troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, pneumatic, electrical/electronically controlled production equipment, pumps motors, code daters and high speed packaging equipment. performs preventative maintenance on equipment on a specified schedule. records repair and preventative maintenance data into a computerized maintenance management system for future troubleshooting use.

works individually and in teams with little supervision. accuracy and attention to detail are critical as mistakes can cause significant lost productivity, loss of raw materials, downtime or food safety or employee safety issues. the close proximity to processing equipment produces a loud work environment. maintenance technicians must communicate effectively with all operators and supervisors to obtain critical information and work within established procedures and guidelines for safe and efficient operations. maintenance technicians are exposed to heavy machinery, heat, humidity and strenuous work. the work is rather fast-paced and involves a considerable amount of climbing, lifting and reaching. this position requires weekend work with a flex schedule and work in excess of eight hours per day as business priorities dictate.
supervisory responsibilities
this job may direct co-worker's daily activities but has no direct responsibility.
qualifications

education and/or experience
prior manufacturing maintenance experience is required. preferably in a food or pharmaceutical industry.
language skills
ability to read, verify and confirm all work orders, technical manuals, blueprints and instructions in a timely manner.
mathematical skills
must be able to perform basic math calculations and measurements.
reasoning ability
ability to follow technical manuals. ability to recognize problems and determine a course of action such as making authorized corrections or knowing when to seek assistance from a supervisor or equipment.
