responsibilities: candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks in a manufacturing / production environment.duties will include the fabrication, assembly, and repair of advanced composite materials and products.mat set up and operate a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and/or grinders.may coat surface parts, assemblies, and finished products with protective or decorative materials.the ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating various tooling and machinery to cut, bond, mold, inject, and form composite materials.    
required skills:  4 years of work experience.candidate must have composite experience (pre-preg, resins, etc.).candidate will have a demonstrated history of adhering to detailed work instructions and quality standards.must communicate effectively, manage more than one task at a time, and have the flexibility to move from task to task as needed.candidate must be able to read detailed drawings, assembly instructions, and diagrams.must have basic computer and math skillsmust be proficient in various hand tools, power hand tools, torque tools, and measurement tools such as calipers.able to perform repetitive tasks in accordance with an established, proven process and perform in-process inspections in accordance with company standards and customer specifications.ability to be trained and qualified in multiple processes.flexibility to work across shifts / off shift / weekends as needed to support customer needs.positive attitude and teaming skills this will be a second shift position desired skills: autoclave experiencestrong safety focusone year experience in an aerospace / production or depot manufacturing facilityability to accomplish daily work tasks with minimal supervision education: high school diploma or ged (required)technical / military training in composites (desired)
