we have an excellent opportunity for a benefits manager at our mason, ohio headquarters location.

the benefit manager is a critical leadership role that ensures the continued evolution of benefits programs to support the needs of our organization. this position is responsible for setting strategy and managing the benefits programs, including health and wellness.

responsibilities/principal duties:

responsible for the strategic planning, design, proposal, implementation and communication of benefit and compensation programs company-wide.establish, build and maintain strong relationships with key hr stakeholders, business leaders, and benefit brokers to ensure that our overall benefits strategy supports our business priorities, are highly competitive, effective, and directly aligned with our talent priorities.drive a data-driven approach for benefit design, wellness policies and programs, and other related initiatives.drive the continued evolution of our benefits strategy in line with health care and other regulatory developments, ensuring a balance of program value and cost considerations.assess current and future marketplace trends to provide a competitive compensation and benefit package to our employees.manage the daily activity of the benefits assistant.research and recommend best-in-class benefit options that align with business strategy to attract and retain staff.develop and deliver a communication strategy that includes components such as educational materials, tools, and guidelines to support company benefit plans.conduct plan design and impact analysis to support improved decision making and proposal development.assist with overseeing risk management, governance, and compliance for all benefit plans, including government filings and communicationsprovide benefit analysis and support acquisition efforts for all mergers and acquisitions as needed.manage all related external partnerships.this is a working manager role; provide one-on-one employee support, answering questions and providing guidance as needed.

qualified candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications:

ba/bs required; ms/ma/mba or equivalent experience preferred7+ years related hr, benefits or employee benefits administration experience requiredtremendous customer service orientationdemonstrated leadership skills with the ability to turn vision into action, motivate others to achieve goals, and follow through on decisionsexperience building motivated, high-performing, collaborative teamsteam player who effectively build partnerships and influences stakeholders and decision-making at all levels of a complex organizationexperience in leading all aspects of benefits strategydemonstrated ability to deliver superior benefits strategies and systemsrecognized as a trusted counsel and strategic expert with the ability to influence and advise senior leaders regarding benefits best practicesdeeply knowledgeable of the regulatory environment and applicable laws affecting benefit plans, administration and compliancecollaborative, proactive leader who can develop and deliver comprehensive solutions based on business needsstrong understanding of external marketplace and dynamics influencing businesshighly effectively communicator at all levelsdemonstrated ability to leverage data and metrics to develop recommended strategies and programsoracle hrms applications or other erp experience beneficial.
