the uams apheresis clinic in little rock, arkansas, is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as a laboratory procedure technician! this great position will support our nrsing staff during vital treatments for our neurology, nephrology, sickle cell, and cancer center programs.

the uams apheresis clinic is the only one of its kind in the state of arkansas. we focus on improving patient outcomes by performing advanced apheresis techniques, research, and educating students and residents. this position will supprt the apheresis nurses as they provide patient care to inpatient and outpatient populations with a wide variety of conditions. we welcome all qualified candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of our distinct nursing community.

responsibilities

stocks patient rooms with suppliesreceives patients into apheresis unitweighs incoming patients into unitprepares patient charts and assembles processing and thawing paperwork. prepares for and participates in outside and internal inspectionsperforms cleaning of equipment per standard operating procedureswears appropriate ppes per standard operating procedures. 

qualifications

minimum qualifications:

high school diploma, ged, or formal educational equivalent
