the treasury associate supports all aspects and critical functions performed by the treasury department including treasury operations, capital planning & liquidity, and corporate insurance. the associate’s responsibilities will include short term investment operations, monitoring of cash balances, assisting corporate insurance with annual renewals and supporting all aspects and critical functions performed by the treasury capital & liquidity group, including funding, strategic cash management, investment management, liquidity analysis, and fx risk. the associate works closely with risk management and settlement operations, and works with operational risk management, systemic risk office, compliance, internal audit, general counsels’ office, and regulatory relations to optimize operational controls, governance, and risk mitigation.

your primary responsibilities: processes bank transactions, including fx, debt servicing, and investments in accordance with policies and applicable regulatory requirements performs daily reconciliation of bank accounts to ensure all transactions are valid and authorized escalates liquidity issues and/or suspicious transactions to management assists in handling the short-term and long-term cash liquidity requirements for dtcc and its subsidiaries assists with the daily issuance of nscc commercial paper and supports the renewal process of credit facilities performs economic and regulatory capital analytics for dtcc identifies risks and opportunities for operational improvements to mitigate risk captures information and data needed to complete insurance renewal applications; coordinates requests for certificates of insurance; review all certificates of insurance provided by 3rd parties; follow-up on notice of cancellation letters of any insurance that is required by contract or agreement interacts with internal and external partners prepares management reports and presentation materials for the dtcc board of directors

talents needed for success: minimum of 4 years of related experience bachelor's degree preferred with masters or equivalent experience knowledge of banking regulations and electronic funds transfer systems securities trading and/or treasury cash management systems experience a plus proficient in microsoft excel, powerpoint, and word
