overview:


the hie client project specialist serves as a tier 3 support for our hie client pm team. this person will work on troubleshooting and triaging production issues assigned from tier 2 support as well assisting with go-lives, conversions and process improvements. the hie client specialist serves as a critical liaison between teamhealth it, our external client it departments, and our internal business partners to maintain continuous and on time data and billing.

essential duties and responsibilities:

troubleshoot and triage technical loading issues involving clinical data and demographic interfacesresolves incident tickets reported by pm's, chart capture and billing center operationsserves as contributor to maintain the hie database; ensures proper documentation is shared across departmentsserves as liaison between internal business partners and billing centers on facility data issuesmanages other projects as assigned by management



qualifications / experience:

associates degree in information systems, computer science, or related field preferred, or equivalent education and professional experience requiredideally possesses 2-4 years of experience in an it support role. experience in a project coordination role a plusknowledge of hospital-based information systems/experience preferreddemonstrated ability to communicate effectively (both oral and written)knowledge of file transfer protocols and familiarity with network vpn configurations with an understanding of b2b connections and ftp transfer a plusexcellent interpersonal skills and customer service and ability to work with minimal direction/supervisionexperience in coordinating simultaneous assignments by assessing project deadlines, establishing work priorities, and coordinating personal work schedulestrong analytical and problem-solving skills neededexcellent organizational and time management skills neededproficiency in microsoft office application (onenote, outlook, access, word, excel, access) and comfortable doing some data entry work that is required
