description:

the maintenance technician is a vital member of the franklin facility production team! they are responsible for performing all tasks necessary to maintain production equipment & facilities in the injection molding/ assembly plant. the maintenance technician works to support safety, predictive and production maintenance systems, & processes while adhering to the company’s business goals and objectives. they will utilize their mechanical/technical skills to perform & troubleshoot scheduled and unscheduled repair maintenance on production machines, conveyors, assembly equipment, and palletizers. they will also use their electromechanical troubleshooting abilities to repair & maintain controls, electrical equipment, hydraulics, and pneumatics!

qualifications:

·       high school diploma or ged

·       at least 3 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment

·       experience diagnosing & troubleshooting machines

·       knowledge of mechanics, electrical circuits, hydraulics, pneumatics, plc & robotics preferred

·       must have basic math skills

·       must be able to read, comprehend and communicate in english

·       spot welding & injection molding experience a plus

·       knowledge of plc programming a plus
