osition summary:

entry level recruiter is part of the corporate human resources team in port washington, ny. still, it will be based in the lisle, illinois office to support staffing initiatives nationwide for a major national retailer. the corporate retail recruiter will be responsible for managing the recruiting process to support our national retail client in all spaces throughout the specified territory. the corporate retail recruiter executes sourcing and recruiting strategies to identify and attract qualified and diverse candidates. this position demands an exceptional balance of drive and commitment and exemplary interpersonal skills with a creative mindset. the corporate retail recruiter possesses the uncanny ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a high-paced and fast-changing work environment. in partnership with hiring managers, you will be sourcing and screening candidates, posting job advertisements, organizing hiring events, and setting up interviews for qualified candidates.

 

 

basic requirements:

the following skills are required of all candidates for the entry level recruiter:

· 0-2 years of experience

· proven track record of successfully recruiting for high volume positions

· experience with implementing creative recruiting solutions for business challenges

· good working knowledge and experience with job boards such as (linkedin, indeed, monster, ladders)

· good working knowledge and experience using an ats (applicant tracking system) teleo preferred

· good working knowledge and experience using an hris (human resources information system)

· good working knowledge and experience w/ microsoft office applications such as word, outlook, and excel

· strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly establish credibility and respect with all departments

· ability to recognize for process improvement and drive challenges

· proven track record of recognizing and attracting top talent

· ability to convey the company mission statement and values to others in the form of expected integrity and performance

· excellent written and oral communication skills

must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen
