responsibilities:

oversee daily activities of the warehouse to maximize production goals and requirementsutilize 5s methodology to keep the warehouse well organized, neat, and cleanutilize material handling equipment when necessaryensure safety of everyone in the warehouse through proper training and osha adherenceexecute all projects in the most efficient manner, managing productivity and reporting results.responsible for temp labor managementestablish and implement job assignments for temp staff to effectively ensure efficient operationsmust be able to supply sound communication and motivation techniques to supervise, develop, coach, and lead the teamexceed operational goals as related to sales, profitability, expenses and operations through implementing and coordinating systems and processesresponsible for all items that arrive or leave the warehouse must be logged into the system promptly and delivered as requiredupdate all daily and monthly operating reports as directedreview ongoing departmental performance results and take corrective measures as needed

requirements:

minimum of two to four years of warehouse management, supervision, or wms implementations experience strong understanding of the job responsibilities and functions and possesses the knowledge and skills required to perform the required job responsibilities and functionsstrong computer skills with proficiency in ms office products (excel, word, project)dependable, responsible, and willing to accept accountabilitystrong learning orientation for self; keeps abreast of changes in current field and new technologyeffectively communicate and interact with a diverse audienceability to work well in a team-oriented environmentcustomer service orientation (internal and external)results oriented with good planning, organizational and time-management skillshandles multiple tasks in a fast-paced deadline driven environment; delivers on commitmentsfollow-through and attention to detail and accuracy of own workdecision making and problem-solving skillsadapt to a continuously changing working environmentdevelop and implement more efficient ways of workingexperience in forklift certification and inspection, operating various warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers, etc.)work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variationsphysical activity includes regular standing, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching and climbing stairs and ladders.ability to lift and/or maneuver up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
