who are we looking for? 
the billing specialist is responsible for order entry and claim processing, preparing, reviewing, and transmitting claims. strong attention to detail and organizational skills a must!
 
responsibilities

updating demographic and insurance information verifying and troubleshooting insurance eligibility and patient demographicspreparing, reviewing, and transmitting claims using proprietary billing software, including electronic and paper claim processingworking through error processing unbillable and unpriceable errorsorder entries

what’s required?

insurance verificationorder entryeffective verbal & written communication; with positive tone, speaking logically and concisely; unafraid to pick up the phone and call someoneexperience working with insurance companies (payor relations)understanding of cpt and icd-10 codinghigh school diploma or g.e.d required2 years of medical billing experience
