job summary
collaborative position supporting the chief operating officer and the assistant chief financial officer through project assistance, internal and external communications and meetings, fulfilling data requests, creating a system performance reporting schedule, and other projects as determined by the coo and acfo. allows the opportunity to gain skills required to manage and lead a complex health system and improve executive presence, leadership, and presentation skills. works collaboratively with management and providers to share information and to use this for process improvement and better operating and clinical outcomes.

essential functions
20% - synthesize complex data requests, assign the work to the appropriate team, help display the data in a usable format for clinicians and administrators, and create initiatives for financial and operational analytics.
20% - serve as liaison of management in the reporting, interpretation and utilization of key reports, metrics and performance indicators.
15% - develop a simplified system performance reporting schedule so that standardized reports are published in a coordinated manner, making it easier for the end user.
20% - lead on pro-forma, create business plans, work with budget, identify variances; develop action plans; validate physician compensation; work with coo and acfo on the implementation of turn around plans. assist coo and acfo in preparing for meetings.
15% - other projects and opportunities to assist in managing and leading a large complex health system, refining executive presence and leadership, and enhancing presentation skills as assigned.
10% - manages advance reporting and financial modeling systems including proforma development, physician payment tracking and key performance indicators.
required minimum education: associate degree healthcare management, analytics, business or finance.
preferred education: bachelor degree -
minimum years and type of experience: 4+ years - healthcare management, analytics, business or finance
other knowledge, skills and abilities required: advanced excel and database experience and skills. other knowledge, skills and abilities preferred: strong analytical, verbal and presentation skills;
