Sr cloud engineer - united states, santa ana

raso solutions is hiring a sr cloud engineer for their world class client, an organization focused on delivering products and services within their core practices: cloud, security, network, privacy & compliance. the right candidate will be a proven performer and will fuel our client's aggressive growth strategy, complementing their unique company culture.

as a remote sr cloud engineer working across the microsoft azure ecosystem, you'll support the development of enterprise cloud architectures. this position offers a base salary plus a healthy bonus compensation package.

key functions:

work in the azure environment: troubleshooting, providing operational support, conducting cloud security analysis, making recommendations and configurations for active directory and office365. recommend/configure solutions such as o365 security and compliance, sharepoint, one drive, teams, exchange, aad, o365 dlp, azure information protection (aip) and exchange online protection, microsoft mfa, sso and other solutions perform technical health checks, support proof of concept/production deployments for cloud environments collaborate/share knowledge with team members/partners for cross-domain, multi-cloud, and hybrid solutions

required qualifications:

solid understanding of microsoft azure cloud security strategy and architecture experience with/understanding of enterprise mobility and security suite (em+s), advanced threat protection (atp), azure information protection (aip) and intune, azure key vault, azure security center technical experience with enterprise level directory/messaging services (active directory, ldap, exchange, sharepoint, o365) implementation and operations experience in operation and configuration of both windows and linux systems excellent oral and written communication skills and  strong attention to detail with successful track record of solving complex technical issues and staying current on industry trends ability to lead projects, working independently and as a team towards goals

preferred qualifications:

expertise in python, git, azure resource manager, azure blueprints and sdn agile/scrum experience security, cloud security and architecture related certifications familiarity with sox, hitrust/hipaa, pci-dss, nist standards
