job summary
the systems engineer will perform the conceptual and detailed system designs in support of contracted programs, bid and proposal, and internal research and development projects. this role will independently apply a high degree of creativity, engineering skill, and judgment in applying engineering principles.

essential job functions develop and document system and unit requirements using requirement management tools for flow-down to hardware, software, and system integration engineerslead system and unit requirement verification including compliance matrix development, verification test procedure development, verification test completion, and verification test report developmentsupport the sales team with proposal activities as the focal for determining the optimum technical approach, authoring the technical description, determining compliance to customer specifications, and supporting development cost and schedule estimatescoordinate directly with customers to assist in design decisions, maximizing reuse of existing designs where possibleresolve technical difficulties with a high degree of analytical expertise and originality for immediate consideration please send your resume to [email available when viewing the job]
minimum qualifications
education/experience: bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical discipline required and five years related experienceexperience with do-160, arp4754a, business jet, helicopter, electric aircraft, and aircraft oem requirements preferredexperience with a requirement management tool such as borland caliber, doors, or jama preferredcyber security experience preferred eligibility requirements must be a us person (under itar rules) to be eligible.if executive order 14042 is reinstated, proof of full vaccination may be required as a condition of employment, subject to medical and religious accommodations.an offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a drug test and background check, and applicants who do not successfully pass both the drug test and background check will not be considered for employment.
