100% remote - full time / direct hire

as an iam engineer, you will work on designing, implementing and improving the identity management systems and processes. you will be responsible for developing integrations with the identity management solution via a secure software development lifecylce. as a leader in identity management, you will provide subject matter expertise in the development of iam strategy, policies, procedures, and standards.

responsibilities

the engineer will be responsible for the following:

drive the design and implementation of the identity management (idm) solution in alignment with zero trust architecturecollaborate with multiple stakeholders to integrate applications and govern access managementleverage a secure sdlc to implement code changes to improve the idm integrationsdesign and continually improve identity lifecycle processes based on business needsprovide policies, procedures and standards required to govern identity management in compliance with multiple security and regulatory frameworkspartner with auditors to provide expert knowledge of the idm solutionmentor staff to ensure operational tasks within the idm solution can be performed and provide career development opportunitiesdesign a roadmap for key objectives with delivery datesparticipate collaboratively within a multi-disciplined team while also owning and driving deliverables independently

qualifications

required

bachelor's degree in information technology, information security, or related major; or equivalent relevant work experience3+ years related experienceexperience designing and supporting identity management solutions and processesexperience driving identity lifecycle management operations across multiple business unitsexperience with cloud platforms (azure, aws, gcp) and saas integrations with an identity management solutionexperience with agile frameworks and delivery conceptsexperience with object-oriented languages: java, c#, powershellexperience with code management solution such as gitexperience with sql and web api based integrationsexperience training peers and operational staffability to drive deliverables both independently and part of a multi-disciplined team

professional cybersecurity certifications (gsec, gcld, cissp/sscp, security+)experience with multiple identity providers (ad, openldap, okta)experience with identity governance products (sailpoint identityiq)experience with privileged access management solutions (cyberark, beyondtrust)certification with cloud technologies (azure, aws, gcp)understanding of cloud computing architecture, technical design, and implementations, including infrastructure as a service (iaas), platform as a service (paas) and software as a service (saas) delivery models
