Job summary:
our client is a large, pe backed apparel company in a growth phase, and they are in need of an experienced.
this person will oversee general accounting, this includes: reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger fixed assets and preparing month-end close procedures.

responsibilities:
verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable produce error-free accounting reports and present their results analyze financial information and summarize financial status spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending provide technical support and advice on management accountant review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures maintains primary responsibility for all accounting and reporting related to the company's global fixed assets. maintain fixed asset activities in fas for corporate and all international locations. responsible for providing training to fas users. prepare and review account analysis/reconciliations and related journal entries. prepare bank reconciliations for numerous cash accounts. understand and document process flows. research and document various accounting transactions. solid working knowledge of gaap.
qualifications:
bachelor's degree required in accounting, finance or related course of study. at least three years of experience in public accounting or private industry demonstrated technical knowledge of fasb/gaap accounting experience in a retail and/or manufacturing environment is desirable, but not required.
