what is the job?
* provides support to warehouse function. ensures that carriers are notified for freight pick-up and that the freight is routed properly. prepares bills of lading and shipping manifests. traces shipments and obtains proof of delivery. may answer inquiries regarding shipping status and expedite shipment when required.

what do you bring to the job?
* high school diploma or ged equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
* minimum 3 years warehouse experience required, or a combination of education and experience.
* experience controlling and maintaining records of materials in inventory, reconciling discrepancies, compiling information on receipt or disbursement of inventory, organizing company inventory in an accurate and efficient manner, and controlling all system-related transactions that pertain to inventory.
* must be pc literate: use of sap and ms office computer programs are required.
* ability to handle multiple situations at one time.
* excellent organizational and planning skills.
* demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, monitors own work to ensure quality.
