schedule: full time evening shift – 2p to 10 - mon - fri. no weekends,

ascension st. vincent’s blount is a 24-bed medical surgical and 6 bed icu hospital. it is common to have a wide variety of patient populations with multiple comorbidities ranging from respiratory, cardiac, sepsis as well as fresh post op patients. we also have 10 rehab beds, included in those 24 beds, where a patient may receive physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, long term iv antibiotic or wound care, and can stay up to 21 days at a time.

what you will do:perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.
aid with movement and placement of patients.assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. document necessary records.keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment. what you will need:licensure / certification / registration:
bls provider credentialed from the american heart association (aha) obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.education:
