join our team! ascension saint agnes hospital in baltimore maryland is hiring for a patient care technician to work in a full-time; night position. as a member of our professional cardiovascular care team, you will enjoy a trusting and supportive partnership with our nurses and other patient care technicians in delivering exceptional care to our patients. you will utilize your critical thinking and excellent communication skills to report changes in your patient's condition to the nursing team. as a patient care technician, your patients will count on you to assist them with their personal care and activities of daily living needs.
schedule: full-time - night; 36 hrs wkly with weekend and holiday commitment

what you will do:perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision in assigned area.
aid with entry and exit of patients.assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.document necessary records.responsible for keeping patient rooms clean and orderly as well as maintaining medical equipment. what you will need:licensure / certification / registration:
bls provider credentialed from the american heart association (aha) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.nurse aide credentialed from the maryland board of nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.education:
