Adecco is assisting a client in their search to fill a packaging operator position.
type: fulltime (40 hours / week) contract length: temp - temp to perm possible pay: $19.80 shift/hours: 2:45pm to :11:00pm job location: north chicago, il job description:
responsibilities:
responsible for the execution of daily tasks associated with packaging pharmaceutical products, including but not limited to the set-up of equipment, the performance of packaging steps according to set work instructions and cleaning of equipment. the employee shall also demonstrate the ability to understand and execute packaging directions presented in standard operating procedures and packaging batch records in compliance with a gmp environment.
• performs packaging operations according to batch production record specifications to ensure that all products are packaged according to quality standards and product specifications through daily task execution
• accurately and clearly completes all required documentation related to batch documentation
• performs equipment, parts, room cleans and clearances in accordance with sops, work instructions, and visual aids.
• operate equipment across multiple packaging lines and be able to troubleshoot basic errors of the computer control equipment. ability to analyze faults, clear jams, and restart equipment in a timely manner.
• supply equipment with the necessary components (e.g.: load components, open and or make boxes, change label roll and be able to perform splicing of the components)
qualifications:
• high school diploma or equivalent
• minimum 4 years of packaging work experience under fda regulated environment or previous experience as a packaging operator iii/iv at abbvie
• direct knowledge of specific packaging equipment with a gmp environment.
• ability to perform basic equipment troubleshooting
• must demonstrate a strong knowledge of gmps
• proven ability to successfully lead a team and successfully run minimum 1 packaging line
• training - line operation and batch records process documentation
• computer systems and sap knowledge must be able to process electronic batch records and all associated transactions in sap
• strong communication skills; able to work as part of a team and adapt to changes
