Facilities planner - united states, mascara
facilities planner needed for a contract opportunity with yoh scientific’s client located in foster city, ca.
this position will be for a major biotech company, and requires someone with at least 4 years of project experience in the construction industry, preferably for a pharmaceutical company.
key responsibilities
• lead feasibility analysis studies, and report project requirements and space planning initiatives related to lab and office renovations and/or new construction
• forecast local space needs based on departmental growth and change
• develop options for facility renovations and create reports and presentations on proposals
• accountable for preliminary budget and schedule creation, resource forecasting
• schedule project review meetings, review materials and methods, coordinate with project architects, engineers, and construction personnel
• partner closely with site leaders to align the project strategy to support business development plans and initiatives
• ensure work complies with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications
• ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately at turnover
• daily operational support and other duties as needed or assigned
qualifications
bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or other related discipline
minimum of 4 years project experience working in the construction industry preferred
2+ years of experience planning technical spaces; facilities/hvac/utilities systems for a medical device of pharmaceutical company preferred
basic understanding and practical experience with cgmp regulations and requirements for facilities and utilities for medical device manufacturing is preferred.
experience with large manufacturing and laboratory facilities sites preferred.
experience with cad drafting and bluebeam is preferred.
