about the opportunity:

- our client is a well-known mental health center in danvers, ma, and currently seeking a compassionate and reliable community health worker to join their growing team

- they have a 16-bed acute in-patient unit, case management, partial hospitalization program, and adult community clinical services

- supervised by the rn and lpn, you will assist them in providing direct care treatment for mentally ill clients

community health worker responsibilities:

- provides programmatic direct care services daily and assisting clients in learning the skills of daily living

- maintain patient records which may include daily reports, round sheets

- responsible for completion of housekeeping tasks

- accompany patients to various appointments or programs or treatment areas

community health worker qualifications:

- 1+ years of related experience

- mental health or psychiatric experience is required

- compassionate and patient
