warehouse associate - 1st shift

pay rate: $17.83/hr

1st shift - mon - fri 7am - 3:30pm (ot - 6am - 3:30p)

**strong possibility for ot. saturday 8hr shift and sunday bonus possibility for working an 8-hour shift.

objective:

the warehouse associate selects material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) within the warehouse walls to move and shift products and build customer orders. all customer orders are loaded onto delivery trucks and delivered to customer locations.

job duties:

perform operations to load and unload freight.

move product to storage with proper equipment and stack/store the product.

accurately build customer orders for shipment order on a repetitive basis, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is packed and shipped. carry or transport orders to the shipping/packing areas with material handling equipment. sort, mark, or pack orders lifting, up to 50 lbs. of product safely and repetitively as requested.

repack, label, and weigh orders as required to ensure shipment of product will be received in good condition.

ensure paperwork is completed appropriately and handled accurately

education, experience, and skills requirements:

high school diploma or ged
