our client is a market leader in food production. due to growth seeking safety coordinator to join the plant. primary duties include:
- ensure personnel are working in safe working environment as per osha and sop's
- develop, implement, train and administer ehs (environmental health & safety) programs
- assist with workers compensation, ehs related incidents and investigations, and audits.
ideal candidates for safety coordinator near baltimore, md, will possess the following.
- bachelor's in ehs, safety or similar
- 2+ years, experience in ehs/hse--preferably food production or distribution
- csp, asp or similar a plus
- understanding of osha and gmp
- able to work in refrigerated environment.
