adecco is assisting our client, msa globe, in recruiting for  2nd shift stitching machine operator positions located in ada, ok. msa globe is a global company that designs, manufactures, and distributes safety equipment and devices.

you will be helping to make a difference to protect people in the workplace by assembling/sewing fire suits. you can be extremely proud of the work you do each day!

as a stitching machine operator, you will utilize a variety of industrial single needle, double needle and programmable machines to stitch one of over 100 operations needed to complete the turnout gear shell or liner. as a machine operator you will also work on snapping, seam seal, automated stitching, labeling, inspection and final packaging. every operator is responsible for the quality of their work.

knowledge, skills and abilities:

ability to speak, read and write english

basic knowledge of computers or tablets

able to sit, stand and walk for full shift

able to lift approximately 30 pounds

strong organization skills and high attention to detail

must be available to work every other saturday

must be available to work daylight schedule for training 2-4 weeks

previous quality control or inspection experience is desirable

pay rate range: $15.75/hour-$18.00/hour boe

2nd shift hours: monday-friday, 3:15pm-11:45pm & every other saturday 2:15pm-10:45pm

training for 2nd shift will be on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks—must have flexibility in schedule.

training hours: monday-thursday, 5:30am-3:00pm & friday 5:30am-2:30pm and every other saturday opportunities available!

8 hour attendance award (eligible after completing one month if no unexcused time is missed)

quarterly bonus $150 for quality and $200-$500 for output
