adecco is hiring immediately for forklift operators with a local client in toledo, oh. forklift operators perform essential duties with pay starting at $17.00/hour, plus available overtime. in this role, you will be responsible for operating a forklift within a warehouse environment to carry out the following tasks:
transport, select, identify, verify, package, label, and place products into shipping containers and/or ship products as required
detail actual tasks vs. expected tasks thru the comparison of picking and/or packing lists to customer documents
recount product before shipment to ensure accuracy
label and address product as required and transport product to the staging area of the shipping department
ensure products meet all requirements before packing and shipping
handle all products according to customer and employer procedures
requirements:
high school diploma or ged
material handling equipment experience, including forklifts, order pickers, walkie riders, reach trucks, stretch wrappers, scales, and various types of packaging equipment (preferred)
forklift and reach/order picker certification (required)
must possess a high energy level and be willing and eager to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment
warehouse management system experience, including rf scanners and/or voice (preferred)
must be detailed oriented and be able to handle multiple priorities
ability to excel in a team-oriented environment dedicated to safety, customer satisfaction, and achievement of quality and productivity goals
